This Coach Purse Dupe at T.J. Maxx Is All TikTok Can Talk About Right Now

RetailMeNot is always on the hunt for a great fashion dupe. While we all love a great designer piece, we understand shoppers aren’t always able to spring for the splurge. Luckily, many of our favorite budget retailers like Target, HomeGoods, Marshalls, and Old Navy, often sell copycats of designer goods at much more affordable price points. The latest dupe to catch TikTok’s eye is from T.J.Maxx, which looks eerily similar to Coach’s $295 Brooklyn Shoulder Bag.

Social media users are calling this purse the “Coach Brooklyn Bag Dupe.” This isn’t the first time shoppers have gone to shop at T.J. Maxx because of TikTok. In fact, the store’s summer beaded bags and adorable beach necklaces have been the talk of the TikTok fashion world as of late. Now, fans are rushing to snag this Coach dupe before it’s gone. 

T.J. Maxx’s version of the Coach Brooklyn Bag, which has gone viral online for its chic minimalist design, costs just $30. Content creator @millyjsalas displayed two colors of the bag being offered — a classic tan and black. The only difference between the luxury version and this dupe is the Coach logo (obviously), a dog tag and it being genuine leather. Other than that, the purse features nearly the same square-bottom, crescent top and side stitching. 

Although several videos have shown the bags are still in stock as of two days ago, the dupe has actually been on store shelves for a month (there’s actually a Reddit thread that confirms this timeline). 

One TikToker found the viral dupe in their local store, with commenters saying they’re “running” and are “in loveeee with it.” 

This user, @theetheticnurse, says they even have the bag in red, but that doesn’t seem to be a commonly found hue. 

You can find this T.J.Maxx dupe in the purse section of the store. The section is often a hit or miss — meaning the shelves are full or lacking of the bag  — so we recommend chatting with an employee if the Coach dupe is nowhere to be found, as they may be able to tell you if a restock is coming. You can also try going to different T.J.Maxx stores if there are multiple locations within your area.
